Christmas song.

After hours fighting with my computer, the video that I need for the blog is ready. Joy to the world for 1st and 2nd grade. We chose between different covers and we found this rock cover.
Joy to the world (by G. F. Häendel)

Joy to the World , the Sun is come!
Let earth receive its beams
Let every heart prepare him room
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Just for educational purpose.

El nostre cos. Our body.

El nostre cos. Our body.

Unit song lyric for first grade.

Dinosaur, dinosaur. Move your body.
(Wiggle your body.)
Dinosaur, dinosaur. Move your head.
(Nod your head.)
Dinosaur, dinosaur. Move your arms.
(Wave your arms in the air.)
Dinosaur, dinosaur. Move your legs.
(Open and close your legs at the knees.)
Dinosaur, dinosaur. Move your feet.
(Stamp your feet.)
Dinosaur, dinosaur. Move your tail.
(Wiggle your bottom and wag your hand like a tail.)
Touch your head. Touch your toes.
(Touch your head and then your toes.)
Wiggle your fingers. Touch your nose.
(Wiggle your fingers and then touch your nose.)

Other interesting song I use and they like it.

Head, shoulders, knees, and toes.

Head, shoulders, knees, and toes, knees and toes.
Head, shoulders, knees, and toes, knees and toes.
And eyes and ears and mouth and nose.
Head, shoulders, knees, and toes, knees and toes.

One more time!

Head, shoulders, knees, and toes, knees and toes.
Head, shoulders, knees, and toes, knees and toes.
And eyes and ears and mouth and nose.
Head, shoulders, knees, and toes, knees and toes.

 One little finger.

One little finger, one little finger, one little finger.
Tap tap tap.
Point your finger up.
Point your finger down.
Put it on your head. Head!

One little finger, one little finger, one little finger.
Tap tap tap.
Point your finger up.
Point your finger down.
Put it on your nose. Nose!

One little finger, one little finger, one little finger.
Tap tap tap.
Point your finger up.
Point your finger down.
Put it on your chin. Chin!
One little finger, one little finger, one little finger.

Tap tap tap.
Point your finger up.
Point your finger down.
Put it on your arm. Arm!

One little finger, one little finger, one little finger.
Tap tap tap.
Point your finger up.
Point your finger down.
Put it on your leg. Leg!

One little finger, one little finger, one little finger.
Tap tap tap.
Point your finger up.
Point your finger down.
Put it on your foot. Foot!
Put it on your leg. Leg!
Put it on your arm. Arm!
Put it on your chin. Chin!
Put it on your nose. Nose!
Put it on your head. Head!
Now let's wave goodbye. Goodbye!

This has been a very busy holiday week!

May the Fourth Be With You! Happy Star Wars Day! This week has a lot of exciting holidays in it that you may not know about. This week is Teacher´s Appreciation Week! We have all had teachers that have helped us become who we are today. Take a moment to think about them and be thankful to have had them as teachers! Thanks Teachers!
Also, today May 4th, is both Anti-Bullying Day and Star Wars Day. We have to be conscious about bullying and both try to prevent it and help the people that are victims of bullying. Bullying occurs everywhere, from the classroom to the park to the internet. Take a stand and stop bullying!
Last, today is Star Wars Day! The most famous line from Star Wars is "May the force be with you." Today´s date, May the Fourth, is a clever pun on this famous Star Wars line.
Have a great week!
